Took us quite a while but not bad for working with pep boy tools, small air compressor and a borrowed hoist.

we spent and did a really dumb mistake by believing you could yank out the motor and leave the tranny in the car, not so easy sicne the actual flywheel sits about 2.5inches or so into the tranny. if you look to the right of the motor the only way you might get that space is by taking off all the motor mounts (1 btw) and ac with alt. even then i dont think it fits.

shift linkage. dowel pin, aint it a bitch? hahaha 15 minutes on that fucker i got pissed and hammered it out.

long shaft, didn't wanna "slide out" so i hammered it the heck outta there, unbolted the lower control arm and lower bar, slid the whole wheel assembly back and yanked it out.

once the axles are out yank out the sensors, wiring harness intake manifold ( cause you gotta keep it for the new d16z6). NOTHING WAS CUT AT ALL. not one damn sensor, cable. only thing thats not on the car after we swap is the AC but u can tell why we dont want it.

um what else, we have some pictures, once were all done were gonna make like a quick page i guess, and jeff if you want u can have it so u can list it on the how to's! if you like of course.

we even gotta pic of me ------- the firewall lol... always wanted to do it.

as of this moment the car is bare, tranny on one spot, old motor (which we found out to be a d15b2 not a d16a6 kev got OWNED LOL) waiting on a clutch and msd rpm activator..

should be done before weeks end.
