Anyone post/pin their blocks with success?

Other than Jeff and Ghettoturbo, has anyone had any luck posting/pinning their block with success?

I read the post in the general section about when Jeff blew up his motor racing a bike... it didn't sound like block posting was good for the motor.

I posted mine myself. It's pretty easy. The best thing I did was practice threading a soft piece of wood to make sure I was threading the right size, and to just get one practice one in before I did the block.

yea its really easy...i cut a small peice of wood to put between the block and the sleeve so i woulndt hit the sleeve when i was drilling

How many miles have you guys had on your motors while they were boosted and posted? Any problems yet?

What about the shavings that goes in the block after you're done drilling?

my motor has 2k on it now. well you clean the shavings out before you put everything back together ;) i dont know if this is an option for you stan (the posting that is) since your motor is in the car still

I know in Jeff's tech article it says that Nascar and other forms of racing have done it. So i guess my question is, do they do it the same way as the article?

I wouldn't be much work to rip the motor out of my car, always an option.
