anyone every use one? it seems decent for the price(personally i think it should be cheaper its just springs and 2 sliders.Look like a good deal?

If you are going to spend about 200-400 bucks...I'd say to go with an OBX LSD. Everything that I have read about them hasn't been bad, in other words, it sound like OBX acually made something good for once. They don't seem to be as high as quality as quaife but I have yet to read about anyone blowing one up.

Oh yeah, to answer that acual qusetion...

Phantom = OK
Clutch style LSD = Better
Helical style LSD = Best

Some people like clutch LSD's for road racing better, but when it comes to straight line stuff, I think the helical is the best. (BTW, this is all from what I have read, no personal experience, yet)

Yea thats what I was thinking too,it kinda seemed pricy too for what it is. oh well i guess wheelhop will own me for now.

Why? How would you know if it sucks if you have never tried it.

I have one, but I have not installed it yet. I am also curious of any REAL experiences. I read a little on the subject on H-T. It seems like a few people are very happy with the phantom grip but most are not. Some people actually prefer it over a real LSD like a quafe.

Haven't used it personally but my friend had one and the upgraded to a quaife, said the phantom grip didn't seem like it was putting enough power to the other side, still ownly spun one tire when he did a burn out. With the quaife there was a big difference,my opinion spend the extra cash and get a good one...Matt
