Another iacv question???

Is there any difference in the iacv valve between the Ls ones and the 99-00 b16 ones? I recently finish my ls/vtec turbo setup but I have an iacv code and my car idles high between 1500k and 2000k won't idle properly even car is warmed. As soon as I unplug it the idles drop down right away too around normal (750-800) rpm. If so you think i have bad iacv? what purpose does the iacv do anyways? I know it brings the rev up when car is cold, but what happens if I just leave it unplugged? I mean it idles good when unplugged but when I first start up car I must keep my feet on the gas for few min so car is warmed then I let off the gas. let me know guys

Whats up Lee? I don't beleive there's a difference with those 2 IACV sensors, but do you have a spare anywhere you can test out to make sure the one on the B16 head isn't bad/ dirty?
