Default Alternator replacing

i have a 92-95 vtec engine in a crx si but i have to replace the alternator and i dont know if i have to buy
a 88-91 civic\crx si alternator and belt or a 92-95 alternator and belt
by the way its a 91 crx si

omg...

your alternator have 3 or 4 ribs on the pulley?

3 ribs = any 88-91 Civic
4 ribs = any 92-95 Civic

belt matches the alternator....

Buy the Gatorbelt, it sorta has teeth on it, better grip on the neck :P

the alternator has 3 grips on it but i have a after market pulley on it with 4 grips
so what u guys think
