you can buy over size acl's they arent all the "universal" ones anymore.
and yes you can just machine the journals to set your clearances. if you arent a large shop that builds tons of motors its a hell of a lot cheaper to buy one set of bearings and set your clearances were you want them after. |

After hearing a few other opinions of personal use Ive went with ACL race.. great deal too 75 for whole set.

I've cut down a crank before with .10 over bearings, and never thought about any other coating other than oil.

I have used multiple turned cranks and never had a problem, but just recently was told that there was a nitrate coating on honda cranks that is lost after turning. Just wondering if that was an issue in extreme conditions.
