About 99% sure...
i have a friend who wants to stay NA, but put a bigger engine in his 89 rex. he called today and said someone offered him a 1.9L head out of a del sol. now, i know that it can't be a D series, so just a head won't do him any good, but was there ever a 1.9L engine in a del sol (factory, i know if could have ANYTHING in it now). Also, i don't even think there is a 1.9L engine, is there? i told him i was pretty sure it was a B18, and they are stretching it a big. i just wanted to make sure i wasn't wrong on that. also, if it was a b18, what model (just curious), and was it v-tec?

Re:About 99% sure...
a cylinder head isnt going to increase displacement...
Del sols came with D16z6's (1.6's) and some came with B16a's (also 1.6's) 1.9? Dont think so, unless they sleeved the block, and put some huge ass pistons in it. Jeff |

Woooo Woooo hhahahaha hmmm 1.9 liter Honda Head hihihhii.
Sorry had to laugh. The only 1.9 liter car I know of is the Peugot 205 GTI. There could be more, but this is the only one i'm aware of right now |
Re:About 99% sure...
even if he sleeved the block to get 1.9L the HEAD wont do ----!! he wants NA dropa B16 and mill the head for higher compression!

Re:About 99% sure...
Get a B18C get a stroker kit from Spoon, Jun stroke it to 2.2L Bump up the compression.
