i have a 89 crx hf i have a built head on my a6 and racing clutch(a6 is in my garage), friend is selling an LS engine, is it even worth the hastle of selling my a6 to buy the LS or jez stick with the a6? with the a6 i am going turbo...with the LS i would have to save for a while to go turbo. thanz

if you have parts for the a6..go for it. im a big b series fan but witht the ls...hummm....not too much power. but the torque is better then the a6. but with a mild build up...you'll totally overpower the ls. but then...witht the same money, time, and tuning involved in the ls...you'll get a good amount of power too. choice is yours...but i's stay with the a6...just cause you have it already.

 

If you are setup to boost the a6, go for the a6. the b18's are fairly easy to come by.

 

what kind of built head are we talking here??

 

Like prozac said.. I'm a b-series guy.. but start off with what you got. D-series can make some decent power if built and tuned right.

 

P&P 3 angle vavle job new valves an valve guides, ran outta money before cam.....it's my first honda i'm 17. i'm gonna stick with the a6. thanz
