a6 in hf problems

i just dropped in an a6 in to my hf crx and it runs, but when it heats up, it dies and you have to keep revving it to keep it running, my friend said my ecu is cutting off fuel but it's an a6 ecu? should i try and put the hf back in? please help. thanz

Re:a6 in hf problems

no, i dont think putting the hf ecu is going to do any good at all. stick with the a6 ecu. maybe somethings not wired correctly

What injectors did you use. Si ecu's dont run well with hf injectors. the 8 valve honda injectors are meant for a 60 hp motor.

Re:a6 in hf problems

i dont know but i'd stick with the regular crx injectors cuz they are at least meant for more power and i'm sure the little hf injectors dont flow as well

go ahead and stay with the hf injectors. it'll be fine. i did the exact same swap before. tell me more about your problem.

Poor a6 being strangled w/ a HF Manifold :(

I dont think the SI manifold was your problem. maybe the vac lines though.
