i kno the head and block combo will work together but i have a question concerning the oil jet.

on the non vtec motors there were oil jets installed on the block

on vtec motors there are no oil jets


will i need to put an oil jet on the z6 block in order to properly supply oil to the A6 head?

 

why would you want to?

 

he probably wants to run low compression for turbo. that combo has been discussed on this board a few times.

 

---- that.....the z6 is already low, its 9.2:1 and on top of that if u do the a6 with z6 its gonna loose power....sucky combo...might as well just do a straight up z6 or mini-me

and im doing this because i have a spare z6 short block and plenty of A6 heads

also i have an exospeed stage 2 A6 cam i would like to use

Install he oil jet on the Z6 block in the same place as the D16a6 block and you should be fine.
