94 civic radiator in a 91 crx

I'm sure ppl use this short radiator when they do not have room because of a turbo manifold. Was wondering if anyone has had problems cracking these because of how low they hang. I'm putting together a turbo on my crx and picked up one of these radiators to make up some room and i noticed if i mount it the way i was planning it looks like it would hang dangerously low to the ground. Anyone have any pics showing how yours are mounted?

it should mount like a stock one but with a little modification

cut an ass of ribbing out of the hood and you can fit it without hanging it lower, you have to tilt the top a little to the drivers side but it will fit

well I have a carbon fiber hood with a fiberglass core would hate to cut into that and with my luck it would crack under the stress. Anyone here rocking one that hangs down some? I can just see myself pulling into the wrong driveway and cracking it but it doesnt hang any lower than the tranny or oilpan and seems to be pretty even with those lil stock hooks. I could mount it with a lil hang just kinda depressing that my car is getting less and less daily driver friendly now.

I was trying to do the same thing, Mine kept on hitting the front crossmember and the hood. Do you need some sort of aftermarket crossmember.

Ghettomarket crossmember..just chop it up and weld a new one.. the front lower crossmember is a joke..it's as thin as paper and flimsy.
