Re: .40mm
i have another question. i bought a set of pistons from a guy but he doesnt have the rings for .40mm over. where would be a good place for me to look
|
Re: .40mm
don't know the max bore on that engine but if you use the search feature on this fourm or even google it i am positive you will find your own answer
far as rings for pistons look for a place that sells pistons you should research your questions b4 you ask them >:D |
Re: .40mm
first of all .4mm doesnt exist ( isnt a regular overbore size)
u probably mean .040 inches which is considered 1mm overbore which is 2 much for boost in my opinion try the dealer for rings 200hp no problem but 300 ur really pushing it dont ever plan on detonating |
Re: .40mm
yeah i guess its .04 overbore. is it too big for a boosted engine. well we will find out :o
|
Re: .40mm
i'm going .040 over on my built mini me. plan on running 15 psi daily
|
Re: .40mm
better reinforce those sleeves or get some new ones!
|
Re: .40mm
well i have a block guard.
do u think that a t25 (greddy 15g) will support 225hp and will it pull til redline and 15 psi. |
Re: .40mm
t25 might get you 225. those start to run out of air up top. and i don't see why you would run more than 10 psi on that small of a turbo. 15 psi is way out of its efficiency range.
