Thanks.

your set up is a big factor on everything. if your just doing bolt on's and some head work or cams, on a B-series then 2.5" is more then enough. but an all out NA or turbo race/drag car will more then likely like the 3", I've even seen 3.5" on a street/drag 600+hp turbo GSR. on the track they normal just run there exhaust straight out the side.

But I say H22's are a different story for a reason. do some research and U'll if out for yourself.
Its been proven many and many time on H22 forms. I say don't lessen to me, do more research and you'll see.

I don't just say what I think will work. I say what I've see many and many times. I don't like to be mislead, so I wouldn't mislead any1 elss.
Thats why I say don't just read what I say and do it. research more and find out for your self. I'm just simply leading you in the right direction.

A good builder does lots of research, then try for them self, then researches more, trys again, and again, and just keeps getting better at it. a good builder will never stop researching.

I never said I was doing it cause of what you said. I am doing it cause of what I know and what I think would be best. and trust me I do plenty of research day after day. I wouldnt listen to anyone specially if I didnt think it was right myself. I simply asked a question to see what replies I got as so do almost everyone on here.
And yes I know Ive seen the dyno sheets on other forums talking about the same thing. its proven.

lol that was to aaronZ34

crxb18t- I didn't mean that in an offensive way. I was just putting it out there because of what everyone was saying.

crxb18t- the "thanks" was to you.

you guys talking about 3inch exhaust on na car i got a 3 in on my turbo b16 ek with a fart can at the end (mangaflow 3" ricer fart can) and its too dam loud want to get a 3 in summit in out muffler its hella cheap about 31$ shipped cheap!!

eBay Motors: Summit 630230 Muffler Performance Turbo 3"In/Outlet (item 330316907805 end time Apr-22-09 22:542 PDT)

my bro had on on his 3" exhaust turbo vitara D and it was still a little loud like low freaqency sound that hella gets on your ears! but a cherry bomb installed before the summit mufller sould quiet it down a good amount.. pay attention to most factory exhaust systems they have a resinator then a muffler good stuff!

keep 3", put turbo back on, problem solved.

But really, if you have a header with 2.5" collector and a 2.5" cat and resonator, your really only working with maybe the back half of your exhaust being 3". Man up and use it, who cares this is HMT, we use what we have laying around.

I like glass packs, they quite down a good amount. I was using a 45" glasspack. long glasspack + good muffler, shouldn't be that loud.
