Default 3" exhaust on an NA car?

Anyone ever run a 3" exhaust on a non-turbo car?

I have my 3" left over from when I was turbo, but I'm just NA now for my daily. The stock civic exhaust is all rotted so I Was gonna throw on the 3" with my B-swap I'm doing...I have a 2.5" header which I'm going to have feeding a 2.5 in/out cat, 2.5" in/ 3" out resonator to a 3" hooker muffler...just trying to figure out how loud it'll be. I'm thinking w/ the resonator and muffler I should be ok right? Maybe I'll double resonate it, not sure if i'll have all that room down there tho.

I just dont want to be hassled by the Po.

you can run 3" but turbo friendly mufflers won't make it any quieter

it will sound like ***.. just fyi.. I run straite pipe for the turbo, but i to am going to be na for a little while.. im just going to leave the reamining stock exhaust on the car, because i dont want to sound like a ricer, and than have a slow *** car to back up the status..

I have 3" turbo back with a straight through type muffler and think it's too loud even with a turbo.

When I swapped a b16 I was a ----- and wanted to practice tuning it before putting the turbo back on, that lasted less than a week it was so god aweful loud and ricey. It sounded so ------- horrible and I carried ear plugs with me it was so loud.

Back in the day I had an integra with Madd tyte JDM one piece header a blox intake mani and a 3 inch cat back. ---- was stupid loud but sounded good for what it was and fun to drive. Then I sold it and got into boost. I wish I still had that car, it would have been a nasty turbo car!

Looking for pics!

i agree with chris, good for High HP NA cars, but for regular na car it will be loud as ----. I had a straight piped no resonator exhaust on my old GSR coupe it sounded good but attracted too much attention
