running stock radiator and slim fan... runs 210 when really warmed up. its about 80-90 degrees outside too...

 

i think 210 is hot. when i had an autometer water temp gauge i remember the needla always stay at 180to 190 ish

 

180 up to 75 F outside
190 75-90F
195 when it REALLY ------- HOT!!!!!!

Btw the fan comes on at 210, off at 205, happens quickly when your not moving.

EVery gets to 210 on the freeway or ABOVE while moving slowly, crank the heat and find a place to pull over.

 

call for a new radiator?? i have replaced the thermostat a while ago and i have the fan running at all times.... stays at 180f for a while then slowly climbs when im running around town.. but my stock gauge never goes past half way... am i ok ? better coolant to run or add another fan?? thanks guys

 

210 is way out


my crx in 110 degree weather was never past 185

 

If it's a continuing problem, Head Gasket. Had the same thing. Changed EVERYTHING. 2 Fans(1 Stock, 1 Slim) New Full width dual core rad, Thermostat, Water Wetter, still nothing, no smoke from the HG being gone wasn't loosing coolant.

Replaced the HG and all was well!

 

well im doing a build so i will just rape it with my 4.5psi for now ! stock temperature gauge thingy never gets past half way stays rite under.. so idk but thanks guys

 

stock gauge doesn't move when the coolant is between 140 and 200 degrees.........you still trust it?

Once it get past 1/2 way.......it's just saying YOUR FUCKED!

 

 

lol how hot is it when its passed the H... b/c my rad blew yesterday and i had to drive for about 1 1/2 miles like that.... so im ordering an aluminum racing radiator from ebay...doesn anyone have sucess with these...oh and sorry for the thread jack...
