2006 Civic R-series engine tare down photo's
not completely tore down, but down to the shortblock, they totally screwed enthusiasts w/ that exhaust setup.

WHY is that a bad design can you ADAPTER plate its the same thing on the new V6 accords. My friends and I were thinking about making some for the V6 for a twin turbo set up.

;) i think they are trying to push the enthusiasts to the Si.. the R-series looks too lame. plastic IM (good for heat soak, but w/ a hot charge of boost going through it :l |

So did they go back to the single cam setup on these motors? Man, I dunno about that exhaust port on the head though...would be great for a turbo manifold, but how the hell does that thing flow out of the head itself? Plastic intake manifold...ewww. Honda should've never stopped production of the b-series :P
