Re:2.5in cat

there is basically no REAL high flow cat. All cats must meet a certain emissions requirement to be passed. All cats are going to be restrictive, dont pay $50 or $100 for a "high flow cat", just get a normal one, or get a straight pipe "test pipe".

Re:2.5in cat

a resonated test pipe would be fine. some thing cheap to fill the gap, and not be raspy.

Re:2.5in cat

make sure you dont have an existing sensor in your current cat, if you do and get a straight pipe or resonator, you will cause a check engine light... i believe only OBD II has the O2 sensor also in the cat, I could be wrong tho

Re:2.5in cat

how would i be able to get rid of the second o2? i am doing obd2 to obd1 conversion, what else is needed because i wan to get a test pipe without throwwing a code.

Re:2.5in cat

the obd II to obd I conversion will take care of the sensor. So as long as youre running OBD I you shouldnt throw a code

Re:2.5in cat

Or you could buy an o2 simulator. I bought one for my car before i found out the obd2 jdm itr dont have a second o2 sensor, and am willing to sell, it was never used.
