1995 525i Electrical Problem URGENT
My newly purchased 1995 525i died on me yesterday on the road. The Battery CEL went on first and then the rest of them. At a stop the RPMS dropped and it died. I jumped the battery and it started up and drove maybe a mile then died again. Now after jumping it it will move maybe 60 seconds before the tach turns off the engine stops reving and the car dies again. Alternator needs replacement? or battery? Whose got a link? Thanks guys!

Usually when the battery light goes on it's something with the alternator. Either the alt is up ---- creek, alternator belt is super loose or just ------- gone or the battery is just old.

The car should stay running until the battery can't support the load anymore. I had that on my last CRX. Lost a belt on the highway coming home one day from work. Thank god it was a fairly new battery or I would of been walking home. Tossed a belt on it and ---- was cherry after that. Drove it for a little bit to charge the battery back up.
