*updated* Shitty D15b7 on 95eg cx hatch

Ok, My motors finally pissing me off and I need some advice. Heres the deal, finally got my spare motor running after much dicking around. So heres what happens:
-starts up first try
-idle goes up to 4000k
-then motor idles at 300k steady
-No Codes
-just switch around map and tps connectors(they were backasswards)
I just put a new map sensor(junk yard) on cause it was throwing code 3(now its gone). There is quite a bit of slack in the timing belt so I need to tighten that and then go recheck the timing. Other than that, I cant figure it out what it is. Maybey IAC, TPS, Any help would help guys thanks.

As well on a side question, Had to put an Si or EX gauge cluster in, (other one got ripped out with some other ----), the tach and speedo work, but the fuel gauge, temp gauge and back lights dont work. I thought the EG gauges just swapped over from model to model. But maybey i'm wrong. Thanks again

for that much rpm at idle it has to he a pretty good vaccum leak, check all your hoses and gaskets.

all 5G clusters are interchangable, some function on your cluster is powered by the same fuse that connects to your backup/tail light. check the fuses

switched around my connectors on map and tps, idles steady just at 3000k, but im not gonna wait for it to warm up cause i read the temp gauge. And there are no vaccum leaks, redid all my hoses first.

checked the fuses first as well, the only things that dont work are the temp/gas gauge and light display, and i noticed that on start up the speedo will go up to 20mph and then go back down :S

Ok, back to this crap again, found one vac leak ficked, went around with soapy water and then with carb cleaner. Now car idles at 1900rpms but here are the syptoms
-if you blip the throttle you can increase the rpms
-if you go WOT if cuts out and dies till you let off the gas WTF?!?!?!?!

it was de-stroked to .1 liters, now it hits 40000898 rpms all day. 4000 horse power, 2 lb-ft of torque
