I had a dohc Zc and it Ran strong, good low end power when it was boosted to. However just for shear part availability i would go with the z6. It definately has potential and for the reason stated above you will have a much better chance of achieving that potential

Well, even though both have around the same hp stock, i would probably still choose teh z6. Tunign ability is a little better with the DOHC zc, due to being able to adjsut overlap and all, but z6's have more aftermarket, and vtec is nice. There are some really nice cams out there for the sohc vtecs, used ot have a zex stage 1, and i liked it. And the z6 is a newer motor, and more abundant if you blow it. YOu are talking about the dohc zc right?
