zc and smog ?
 

how friendly is the dohc zc with the emisions im about to take mine to the test only shop and i dont know if it will pass i currently installed my stock airbox and stock exhaust (catback) to my ef any feedback appreciated

Mine passed like 5 years ago when I was alot about doing it legal. If it's a tuned up motor and a good condition cat it will pass mine was well below Cali average #'s.

if you're in cali which im assuming cuz you said test only, then it will pass as long as you have a cat, stock air box and burns clean.

the most important thing is you need the hood sticker of where all the vacumm lines and ish goes for the motor under your hood otherwise most wont test and declare automatic fail. if you live near sac in cali and fail test only i got a guy whos gold shield certified that can get it to pass :)

yeah im good with the cat and stock airbox they are on the car now good deal then ill just give it my best hopes and about guys doing it illegaly theres a ---- load of them around my area in orange county thy only problem is their prices are up there anyways thanks for the help
