I am in the process of building my zc engine. it is turbo charged but 9psi just got boring after a while. i need to buy a new oil pump but i am having troble finding out which one to get. does the zc use the oil pump from a 88-91 crx si, or the pump from a 86-89 integra? i hope that it uses the crx pump because i have yet to find an aftermarket pump for the 89 integra. thanks for the help!

88-91 Crx SI oil pump should work just fine.

i assume you're talking about 2nd gen ZC's?

If not, and you're talking about a 1st gen(brown top) ZC then you'll need either an 86-87 or an 88-89 depending on the year. I have a 88-89 teg block, but used my 1st gen ZC oil pump on it.
Beware, 86-87's are different than 88-89's.

no, we are talking about the 2nd gen zc. i purchased a new high volume oil pump from TOGA. i just needed to make sure on which one to get.

yeah you did! i had to use the one from my old 1.5 dx and its the same ------- thing.

i had to buy a seal and got one from an 89 teg and it didnt fit..so i got the one from a civic and it worked fine. took both the ZC oil punp and the 90 dx 1.5 pump and they are the same...
