ZC or D series OIL SUMP REMOVAL
 
hi there
there are two bolts on the tranmission side of the sump which have almost half the nut head covered by a plate of some sort... any one got any advice on removing these nuts or have i gotta remove the plate two undo them? it just seems a bit of a design flaw on hondas behalf i thought if i have to remove the plate

if your talking about the thing that bolts to the tranny and looks like a brace, yea you have to remove it to take the pan off

;D no worries i got it yeah you have to remove four bolts 14mm, and three 12mm's bit of rust on them but rubber mallet sorts that out...
