Default your thoughts on a honda circle track car

yeah. so as the topic says. my brother back home, races in a class called "enduro racing" bacially they put everyone that shows up that night(for that class) on the 1/4 mile oval track,(asphault) and race for 2 hours, timed. the person with the most laps wins.(usally a pot of $5000!) you can pit, whatever. if you wreck your car STAYS on the track, unless it catches fire, or rolls.

now the part that will be fun. mod's are open as long as you stay with the same make. IE< chevy with chevy parts. honda with honda parts. safety mods are 100% open. you must remove all glass. my brother has a caprice, with chevy van springs and a SB chevy engine with some kind of cam. everything gutted, and does really well with it. he has $600 bucks in his car.

I've never seen him race yet. my dad says he does really well. my brother says hondas usally always finish. so I wanna make a car...stick with a Vtec something, but what about suspension? what would you use for suspension? *gotta keep it honda* I would do it cheap as possible. cheap and fun is the key.

how would you set your car up? sounds like alot of fun...

You could buy my Caprice off of me and be a P I M P like your bro :P

Have you considered any other cars, RX-7's are cheap as hell here, same with most 80's compact cars..

yeah, but I dont intend to buy the car for some time....probably another 6 months, just looking at the honda area...

Only because I already have the car, and by then, it will be a perfect beater. I wonder which speings I could switch to? get some prelude springs?
