Wow. Good stuff. :y N00b question --> Does slicks lower your trap speed and by how much ususally? 13.5 at only 95mph is mighty good.

IHI turbos rule actually I had a set of MT 20x8x14 and the best they'd cut was a 1.9. Baby slicks suck balls. I think I made like 4 passes on my DR's but I know I could've went faster on the DR's with some more practice then I did on the 20x8's

The set up is dialed in pretty good |

I think I made like 4 passes on my DR's but I know I could've went faster on the DR's with some more practice then I did on the 20x8's I did 13.9@101mph on street rubber (proxes) with a 2.2 60 ft and 13.7@100mph on DR's with a 2.0 60ft and 13.6@100mph on baby slicks with a 1.9 60ft I think that it's in the difference of the EG vs. the EF front suspension layout, along with the VERY linear powerband of the baby turbo, that donnie was able to pull those times. The setup is just efficient. It wasn't even a fluke, either, because he ran 2x1.7 and 1x1.8 60' times with those slicks. I need traction bars. :P |
Re: your best 60ft times on 20x8 m/t
1.816, 13.09 @ 103 mph..........
I highly doubt a 1.72 60 foot and only running 13.5 @ 95 mph. Were you using a stock flywheel? Launch rpm? Slick psi? Staging depth? Burnout procedure? |

Car did it twice Mr. Bone and was running 13.5-13.6 with 1.7 3 passes at 3500 elevation so no it wasnt a fluke. stock flywheel I have seen 13.5 at 94 out of an all motor car i was involved in with years back Someones feelin hurt now your not that king anymore :) Wanna see the videos :6 |

Re: your best 60ft times on 20x8 m/t
why I asked about the stock flywheel..........extra stored energy is how you got the better 60 foots.......
BTW, thanks for proving a point, light flywheels SUCK :) Vids and timeslips welcomed, I wanna see the car react to the launch. Feelings not hurt at all, with the above info he proved a valid point for me :) |
Re: your best 60ft times on 20x8 m/t
that is a good 60'. What car is it and how much does it weigh. What is your setup? how much psi? I have those same slicks and have only ran on them once, in the 1/8 mile. I got 2.0 60' and launched at 4500-5000.I didn't know what to launch at. What do you guys set your shocks at when you drag? I have KYB AGX on tein springs. i had them set pretty soft.

Re: your best 60ft times on 20x8 m/t
LACR -> Gay, just like Fook. I say Burbank airport can donate one of the landing strips for friday night drags. O0 Hey, chris what act clutch was he using. I have a HDSS and it has held up for two years no problem and the pedal pressure feels stock too. |
