my buddy and i used our keyocera 7135 phones to conenct to the us cellular easyedge network and we were able to use it as a modem but it was only like 15kb/sec. we got the unlimited easyedge downloading and we had to turn on picture messaging and we got it to work. at the time us cellular said it could not be done but we were able to do it.

the standard price was like 1.5 cents per kb and we had the phones downloading 20+ hours a day. just constantly dl stuff of limewire and ----, we even tried to see who could get more data downloaded in a month, we did this for like 18 months befor they figured out what we were doing. it was so funny the one time we called the customer service to check our data usage and the stupid indian tried to read some number that was over 50,000,000 (50 million) kb thats supposed to be like $750,000 dollars in data usage.

WOW i thoguht mine was bad. I'm from Ontario canada and one time when I went to Cali my bill was $800 for one week!!! Roaming fees OWN

yea, thats why you call your provider and tell them where you are going for a vacation and they can make it so you arent roaming...Thats what I was always told my the cellular stores. Luckily I have never left the US and I have a nationwide plan. :l

Hahah poor guy... Mine was 300 once, and I called and upgraded my plan before the month was over. They reset my billing and charged me for the new plan alone... Something to know if anyone ever goes over. I did them a favor

thats fucked, but that guy is being a nig nog at least they werent gonna try and make him pay the whole 85g's, but now the guy is all pissy, just pay it and be done,

He works in the oil fields in Alberta probably makes that in a week anyways.
