I have no idea why someone would invest that much into a turbo system and skimp out on the fuel management.

Reminds me of this twin turbo Viper that was at a dyno day I went to last year. It had an FMU as well ???

some people dont kno as much, but most people think when they go turbo, they need an fmu cuz its "boost dependent". i heard a bunch of guys talkin about it. they get larger injectors, afc, and an fmu. i dont kno why but thats how they do it lol. i bet the viper and that other car have bigger injectors n such but have the fmu as well.

Right, just because there is a FMU that does'nt mean there still using stock sized injectors.

It's really not worth it when you can get free or pretty cheap engine management. BUT, I willbe using a FMU on my next d series setup. Because I'm a lazy cheap bastard.

They could be using a fmu in conjunction with a sweet ass engine management setup. If i was going to do a baller setup thats how i would do it. Thay way your larger injectors could hold a steady idle and yet they could flow alot at higher boost.

yeap lots of guys who make big power on big engines use fmus in conjunction with huge injectors, cause lets face it... those injectors are extremely expensive, and not really that available.

i was unaware of the fmu and larger injector deal but your statement makes 100% sense! you jsut spent 90k on a car. that doesn't always mean you have another 90k to strip it and rebuild it even more hardcore.

i don't understand why they just don't go dual injectors. it is a way to just run stockers but have all the feul you need.
