thats still my inspiration to swap an f22 into a civic hatch. Do you have any full shots of the dyno graph? I'd like to see the rpm's where you made peak torque and hp. And is the f22b1 the vtec head? I forgets me accord lingo.

Very impressed overall with the way things turned out on that. Nice horsepower numbers too.
Were you chipped using the P28 ecu? Did you have to rewire any of it or was it just plug-n-play? What kind of injectors were you using? |
Re: YoSkaterdudz02 : The F-22b1'n setup..... my first HMT. . .
Other than plugging the chipped p72 into the car all the wiring remained absolutely stock as did the motor (exept for the arp headstuds)
It was a reallly fun setup. |

Nice set-up..... might look a little better in a cl though :6

HAHAHAHA
WHATSUP B! Ya, if you ever FINISH IT!!! Hows it coming (this is the guy that bought the pictured setup...). The guy that wanted to buy it for the accord before you (that backed out) is soooooooooooooo bummed i sold it... LOL. |
Re: YoSkaterdudz02 : The F-22b1'n setup..... my first HMT. . .
I got it all in the cl, but I ran into a few problems with it and I had to take off for school before I worked them out. Right now it idles fine, but it's running really really lean whenever I give it any throttle. I get a CEL after it warms up and I haven't had a chance to figure out what that's from. I think it might be a fuel problem (bad injectors or something) since the map you gave me shouldn't be running that lean. It's not even driveable right now. I'm gonna pick up a used laptop and ECtune so I can datalog and make some changes.

Did I send you the actual chip, or just the bin??? I cant remember....

You sent me both. I was able to run the map through my ostrich and I tried making a few changes with crome basic. The problem was I couldn't get freelog to work and just ran out of time to ---- with it. I did a bit of AFR logging using logworks but it just leans out like crazy when I accelerate at all. It doesn't make sense for it to do that with the map you gave me. I think the problem is either with my fuel system or possibly the LC-1 giving bad readings. The reason I think it might be bad readings is because the wastegate dump tube doesn't line up with the wastegate right now (you can see this in the picture). So some air might be going down the dump tube and ------- with the readings.

Re: YoSkaterdudz02 : The F-22b1'n setup..... my first HMT. . .
you header wrap everything but the most important part, the IC piping that goes right over the header is the only thing that really needs that header wrap...... :1

Re: YoSkaterdudz02 : The F-22b1'n setup..... my first HMT. . .
Okay faggot ass... It wasnt heat wrapped as i didnt want the IC piping to HOLD heat... Dipshit :1 :1 :1. Ht only reason the elbow was done was because it had somer really shitty looking welds that I didnt feel like looking at, so...
Go ---- your mom.... AGAIN |
Re: YoSkaterdudz02 : The F-22b1'n setup..... my first HMT. . .
Thanks man for all the help.
Were the 880 cc injectors really necessary? What type were they exactly? ' ' |
Re: YoSkaterdudz02 : The F-22b1'n setup..... my first HMT. . .
Its actually nice to see the old setup alive and well!!! Looks good!!!! I still dont get why you cant get the dump attached... It was a bitch for me too but not even close to THAT far off.... Just cant wait to see some numibers man...... You off for the holidays at all??? :y |
Re: YoSkaterdudz02 : The F-22b1'n setup..... my first HMT. . .
I had the downpipe fixed where it was flattened and now it won't fit back in properly with the dump tube. I'm gonna take the car back to the guy to get it fixed up and get some exhaust piping done, but right now I'm worried about even driving it there. I get a couple of weeks off for christmas so I'll see what I can get done. Chances are it'll be too icey out to get any tuning done though. I think I'll pull the head and put those headstuds in.
