I have a 96 4dr so I'm a little biased. I hated it but it was $3500 with 59,000 miles on it from a friend of the family so I had to jump on it and now I kinda like 'em. Mostly because it is slightly less common than a 2 dr or hatch. My friend has an 88 4dr with a jdm zc and ls wheels and it is a very nice looking car to be so old and boxy. For $500 I would do it and as was previously said, you can always get your $500 back out of it.

You couldn't pay me to drive that... I vote no. That's $500 you could be spending on turbo parts instead of an ugly ass car. Yeah you can always get your money back if you want to sell it, but I wouldn't want to go through all the hassle cause I have too many cars already. Wait and buy a CRX.

F*CK THAT! I gotta 91 Civic EX 4 door(comes stock with the same engine as YOUR REX SI), I gave 2g's for mine and I like it fine...it's a 5 speed and a lil bit heavier, but I've ALSO had an 89 CRX Si, and to me the cars are REALLY comparable, the four door just has two more more doors and an ASSSS!! I know I'm gonna get flamed for this (LOL..WHO CARES) but to me the CRX is a chick car...not to offend anybody of course. I can't wait to FINALLY boost mine and go huntin' for SPORTS CARS...heh
