its not an ss dude, when i first saw the pic i thought it was to but when it got to my house it is seriusly custom... on the ssauto the wastegate comes off the right side but on this one it comes on the left. that cut and reweld was jus to better align the turbo from the block... the flanges are way thicker then ssauto...

i have an sscrapvaginafold, and the wg flange is on the collector, so if he cut the collector off, he would have to reweld it somewhere else anyways. i agree, the flanges don't look like they're from an ssdickintheassafold, but it looks like the head flange was cut off another manifold and welded to the ssblowmynuts runners. you can tell by the bends in the runners, you can't order weld els like that anywhere.

he only charged me 80 bux? i dont think its that much for a manifold. it feels a lot heavier then a ssauto, how much do those weight cuz this ones ------ heavy

:o $80 he could sell those for 100- and i think he would have no problem doing it....does he have one for a D series?

Re:yay got my new mani...

doubt it, he only sold it to me cuz he needed money to make his T4 mani for his ls-v turbo setup.

Don't kid yourself, that's an SSauto manifold that has cracked and been repaired. I remember some of the old school SSauto manifolds had the WG on the left, but it doesn't matter in this case because that entire section has been hacked off and re-welded. I'd hate to burst your bubble, but there is no way that is not an SSautocrap manifold. :-\

Don't feel bad, you're not alone. :-[

yeah i gotta agree that it started off as an sscrap manifold, it's obvious in the welds, how do you go from clean welds to big bulky welds, and plus I think ss's new like have flanges like that.

If it works it works, 80 bones it don't hurt. have you test fitted it yet?
