Damn I'm feeling murdoc on this one. I feel alittle better cause I got one fluorencent light in my garage but still a one car garage. Damn but I do everything thing in that fucker, install turbos, engine swaps. It's not very wide since if you pull straight in you can't even open the doors completely. It "my" garage and not rented so that all that makes me happy. Damn rich fuckers have a big screen tv and ----. My entertain is my daughter's old kids stereo thats a radio and tape player that eats tapes. I've surround sound in there since I wired up all the old stock honda speakers I had wired them all into that little boombox thing. It's pimpin'! 8) |

That type of flooring is made for shops and mechanics and doesnt absorb oil fluid or anything. You can just mop it up.

my mom and step dad are architects. they designed a 4 car garage for a client that had lifts in each bay so he could put his 8 cars in the garage without having to biuld 8 bays. cost him about 250,000 dollars.

Those lifts suck anyways, you have to roll the car onto them, id prefer one where it grabs the body in 4 places and lifts, so you could take off a tire in the air at least.
Too clean to be a shop too, but I like the video games and giant TV. |

Hmmm...
Not bad, but I think I could have done better... Not a big fan of those checkered tiles cause of the bumps they have. Would be bit of a pain, rolling tool-chests, jacks and ---- around with those. I would have stayed with a simple coated concrete floor in white or grey... The arcade game is a bit sucky... shoulda bought 2 racing seats with 2 PS2's (with 2 TVs), then when your working on your car you could then watch 2 pornos..(one for each eye) I do like how the shed looks old from the outside and modern when your in it. Also IMHO I'd sell the euro-trash GT3 and buy a few EF CRXs and Civics... |

I just noticed he used recessed lighting instead of flourescent lighting. That was the dumbest thing he could have done. Not that he's real concerned with money, but those lights will draw like 500% more power and produce like 50% less light than the same amount of flourescent light. Not to mention the extra cost of the recessed lights themselves. He was going for the *bling* factor of the recessed lights instead of the function factor of the flourescent lights. I'd call him a ricer. :P

JUst my 2cents worth,You see he lives above his garage an Yes he is in debt up to his ears.Yup i would like to have 3 bays but the city would only let me build my 16x30 so ill have to do with it.An as for the hoist its to put the porshe up on an raise it so they cant repo it LOL :o

but... her mom and dad mentioned making a steel pole barn, and make the inside all industrial like, and make 1/2 garage/ 1/2 living quarters...not a bad idea, kinda cool if you ask me. -and it could be done pretty cheap to. |

man all i have in my garage are 4 flourescent bulbs hanging above me and thats still not enough light! i have to use another one cause when i pop the hood up it block the lights.
Im working on something else though so that i get enough light all around. I also can open my doors all the way though. its a small garage but i still get to work on my car. Doc your a weird dude! i need music so i dont feel all alone and ----. Tv's in the garage would make me want to sit donw and not finish. But still nice garage...a bit over kill but hey , if he likes it that way then ---- it! |
