I know your 18 and know everything like how to ship parts even though I ship 250+per month but I already went through the hype of school/working for the man. I hated every minute of it. School is great the returns has far has moving up the scale well if your a pawn like person you will work great.


I decided to start a business on nothing instead of the life you speak of after I got my business admin degree. I spent time in the office world and wanted to kill myself and every cat I saw. Quote all the bullshit you read when it comes down too it, I'm the american dream. Young man who decided to go against the grain start a business against the odds and continue to grow with no Loans, Family investment and working alone. I do have 2 dogs so they help with security.

dont you find it funny how every ------- who goes to college looks up what other people make in the "field" they are going to school for and assume they are gonna make the same amount? pipe dreams mostly. kid will spend 4 years for an accounting deg. and probably score a job for 40K/yr.

Let me clear my throat, cough cough.

I graduated from Accounting 1 with a year average of 97% that is what made me want to pursue accouting. I have already started my own business auto detailing and reconditioning. I did that for alittle while until my old boss asked me if I wanted to detail full time, I agreed, he took me off a w-2 and put me on a 10-99 at 50% with full employee/employer taxes, I told him to ---- off. After this I found a business that was started this year, a few of my old friends started it, I have been working with them for awhile, but when they return to college in california, I am supposed to run their business over the winter for $15/hr. I still have to tell them to ---- off. Right now I am working on starting my own detail/repair shop with my friend in his 5 car garage.

Also I said 70k-100k will be easy to SETTLE DOWN ON!

I will have a starting wage of 35k-55k hopefully.

Believe me if anyone knows that education has nothing to do with expected wages its me. My sister in law was valedictorian of her highschool, she went to MIT, and now Knits yarn all day.
While my brother in law who never went to college makes 70k a year being a professional tattoo artist.


I am not bragging, simply stating my goals in life! I dont talk out of my *** like most people on here. In 4 to 5 years I will make a sustainable income regardless of working for the man or not!
If anything you are bragging, the majority of businesses in the United States are small businesses, how the ---- are you going against the grain and no one else is? of course you are going against the grain, just like most of americans are when starting a sole proprietorship.

Nothing like being an engineer... Salary start at 40k, I save on car insurance, gas (15% off I think), I save on travel (30% or so), cell phone (like 20$/month unlimited with a phone) and maybe other things that I don't know. Anyway, I only want the engineer's title to be more friendly with the bank and start my own compagny. Here you have to work 3 years being a Junior engineer and after you get the real title....

Accounting is caca But good luck, you are young, you have the time...
