XBOX 360 VS PS3 Currently
 

Hey so for Christmas I am trying to decide between PS3 and XBox 360 ; A year ago I wouldve went for the xbox360 in a heartbeat but now I am afraid it has reached its limits and the ps3 will soon surpass. Price not an issue, at this current point which would you buy?

I have 32 inch 1080i Toshiba (might be upgrading in a few weeks if i get my scholarship back)

I need to decide by Jan 9th when I head back to school.

What games does each system have in store for the next year and what should I do?

They both play ------- games, have a wide selection of said games, but...

PS3 = Blueray (for movies) = Win

Despite this, because of the Xbox failing at an estimated rate of 1 in 3, I would have directed you towards the PS3... but Sony's latest firmware upgrade has caused a number of Blu-ray drive failures and IIRC they weren't warrantying them.

online content with the xbox is better (netflix and all). and will soon be having an expansion for the blu-ray player.. and have a slightly better game portfolio.
the ps3 i can see getting better and better.. having an allready great blu-ray player is its selling point. and game content is ok... but will soon get better.

it could really go anyway..


i have the ps3 mostly cause of ther blu-ray player.. and if i want to play games i know i can.

i recently just got a wii for christmas too ;D

I may be a tweaker, but my keyboard is a flat out junky. Every time I hit Enter it inserts a /, makes it a real bitch when entering passwords and the like. :(
