I've never had them check under the face plate and I have swapped about four. I usually go buy one, swap the insides, and take it back about 3-4 days later. They never called anyone from electronics either. They have a poster up in customer service that tells them where the serials are located and what is included. There is a extra serial sticker locate where the front USB ports are, but they never check that. They are also to retarded to really check all the stuff. I have kept a headset and a play and charge kit without them noticing.

Toysrme, you mentioned before aboput wiring in an hdmi cable. you got a link on how to do that? i'd do it if it doesn't void the warranty.
