anyone picked one up yet? i got the 400 bucks one for christmas(sneak peek) that plays the old xbox and the new one and they have one thats 300 bucks and only plays the new ones, thats gay. :-\

Just because you have the HDD doesn't mean you can play all the old Xbox games. Actually you can only play a minority of the old Xbox games at this point.

MY friend got the cordless combo pack that came with like 4 games or whatever. im not really impressed with it. 360 loads faster and is smoother then the old box. didnt notice any glitches. Internet isnt supported that well there are still alot of bugs that need to be smoothed out as far as lag and connection problems are concerned. By the way the cordless is the ----. dont have to worry about the cord snaggin on ---- when you score a touchdown or own someone in call of duty 2 i jsut wouldnt go out and buy one just yet. ill wait till the new playstation come out to see what that is like. then ill decide on which is better.

havent gotten one yet, but played one at gamestop some racing game didnt catch the name but it was pretty badass graphics and sound.

im waiting at least a year till i buy one or untill ps3 comes out. im going to be smart because by that time it will be cheaper and all the bugs will be worked out by then

Yeah im waiting for ps3 myself. Its going to have more support, and the basic model will still have the hard drive with it, instead of having to pay more for it with xbox. That and the ps2 online system is nice, so Im sure the ps3 setup will be just as nice or better.

You can play the old games with a software update from Microsoft.

The graphics are good, but not orth $400 more than my xbox. And certainly not when I have a computer.

They erally wern't selling for $1,200. That was a lot of shill bidding and stuff like that.

That has nothing to do with the 360 and everything to do with maker of the game and their servers. I can't get online in Call of Duty 2 without glitching all to hell but Perferct Dark is flawless online.

i doubt the 360 price drops when it is released its goin to take a year for the price to drop

I don't know if I can wait a year, I've been itchin to buy a PS2 and I'm just gonna fork out the dough probably in feb or so and buy one (in other words, as soon as the price dips im game)

Maybe in Japan so add like 6-8 months for a U.S. launch.

I doubt Sony will get it out by March.

I can def wait a year to buy the 360 i really care about halo 3 right now and its not even out yet. So when it comes out i'll make sure i by the 360. Plus there prob now for xbox 360 stating its having overheating problems. i'll wait...

i think i am gonna wait a little to get one there are some defected ones i have heard but then again thats what i heard i will stick to my 100 dollar ebay special x box .
