Xanax.....
 

Any one else ever had that ---- prescribed to them? My cardiologist pescribed me some .25mg pills and I took it for 2 weeks. So I quit it cold turky late last week and now I have the gitters, I cant sleep, and have rare but strong muscle spazams. I was told I needed to ween my self off of it and I didnt belive it since its only a quarter ------- miligram!

I dont want to get back on it but I'm ------- thinking about popping a pill to feel better gain :-\. I never thought I would be dependant on any type of medication....but dam that pill made me feel good.....I feel like Smokey in the pigeon coop right now :S :X

well then there must be a reason why your on it of course......... you have an anxiety disorder or something? my gf is on some pills that she only takes when she gets really stressed out from work(which is her source of stress and anxiety), but she popped one the other day and she was like high as hell it seemed like to me :S ---- just go and get yourself some weed. weed solves all the worlds problems.......as long as a convenient store is accessible and open 24/7/365. :6

I was put on it because I get crazy Premature Ventricular Contractions which Cardiologists know very little about. I stopped taking it because the Cardilogist told me that it would hold me over till I saw an MD and he would give me what I really need for my "stress dissorder"(which is what he belives is causing the PVCs). The funny thing is that I dont feel or have felt stressed! I have an appointment with my MD tomorrow. We'll see what good ---- he prescribes me then :-\

As far as weed goes, I dont want to have to explain to my 6 year old son why daddy ended up in jail for buying illigal drugs :3

Its supposed to relax you so thats why you felt tired. In large doses it causes "hallucinations and dimentia". Of course I found all this ---- out after I was on it because I Googled it ::)


I have like 60 pills left. I should try and get a hold of Lyndsey Lohan and see if she wants to buy them off of me :P :P

Pm'ed. :S

Its for stress disorders, anxiety problems, panic attacks, etc. I have been seasonally prescribed it and similar ---- for years. Medicine expenses own me, I stopped buying almost all of my regularly prescribed pills a few years back in high school.

Quitting cold turkey can kill you. Probably not with a 1/4mg but in large doses the withdraw can kill. Xanax and alcohol are the only drugs that can kill from withdraw. Ask your doctor to prescribe you some klonapin (sp?). Its weaker and should work well to ween off the xanax.

damn that sucks i went through the same ---- with painkillers i would take them at work cause for some reason they make me work like a mother fucker and them boom couldnt get them anymore and it sucked i felt like total ---- for a week...no i just take them occasionally

So whats up with your PVC? cause I have an issue with rapid heart beats every now and then. Wonder if they are simliar in nature My heart rate just skyrockets up to like 160-200 beats per minute resting. its kind of rediculous to be honest. you can literaly see my shirt move it beats so hard and when it quits it stops for one full beat then starts back up. its very unsettleing to feel your pulse stop for a second.

be aware of cross addiction, jump off the xanax and then start drinking, soon your doing both, stopping both cold turkey = bad days ahead if your not dead. Switching to weed is just jumping from one addiction to another.

he would have to be taking higher doses for it to kill him, but that is true, both alcohol and xanax can kill you by quitting cold turkey.

klonapin is a great replacement, i have used klonapin recreational a fair amount. the only thing to watch out for on klonapin is when you fall asleep, you will bout out hard.

i was perscribed some "chill pills" like that, i refused to go pick them up though, i dont wana be dependent on pills to calm me down

Yeah It feels pretty fucked up. It all started for me about 8 years ago. They have been getting worse with the years. Docs dont know what causes them or how to treat them.

You should see a cardiologist if your heart races. Mine doesnt race like you described. It just takes and extra long beat. It feels like my heart stops and then fires up again hard. Not a pleasent feeling at all. I'm to the point where I will get them all day long in rows of 10-15 at a time and really strong to where it feels like my jugular is going to explode from the preasure. Its not a daily thing though. Sometimes it will be months without feeling ----. :S

I just got dome with $10k worth of tests including two tests where they shot some radioactive ---- through my cardio system and then raised my heart rate from 70 to 170bpm in less than 10 minutes then put me in some imaging machine to see how much blood flow my heart had. That was an adventure :S. The doc gave me a cleam bill of health though because he said that doing more than 8 minutes on the tread mill at a 20% incline means that my heart is strong and healthy other than for the ------- PVCs. He also said it wasnt life threatening. He said "your heart is in no greater danger of stoping than mine". Really reasuring ::) ::)

It really fucks with your head though when one of the two primary organs(the brain being the other) is wacked out....thats where the drugs come in ;)

I take xanax for the affect, i think it is awesome if u take em and drink on top of em, you might not remember n e thing but u feel great plus there is no hangover. i was taking 3mg and drinking on it and i stopped cold turkey for about a month and i had no effects to me so i dont know how to help u deal with it but i would also like to add that xanax is a stong drug and .25mg is more then it seems. the most u can be perscribed i belive is 2mg or 1 bar. well if anyone has some and wants to sell em lmk.

That's ZANTAC dumbass...lol....Yeah, I used to get crazy f@cked up off of xanax...4 or 5 of those blue footballs or what a guy earlier referred to as a BAR and a few beers and you will FEEL NO PAIN...It is a good lil fix for ppl who have problems with nervousness and anxiety...I was always kinda shy and quiet, those things really brought me out of my shell...They are comparable to valium, they're prescribed for pretty much tha same symptoms...What color are the ones you have D16?? You could make a good lil piece of change off of 60 of them...They come in different colors, blue, white, peach, etc. etc....They blue ones used to go for $2 a pop, but it's been quite awhile since I messed around...

I used to take some ---- for social anxiety and once I got on it and tried to ween myself off. I'd be really gittery and could never completely get off my meds. Now the last time I went back on for a year and finally been off of it for a year and never looked back and feel back to normal. If I missed a day then I'd be like totally out of comission for the whole day..dizzy...basically like a extremely bad hangover. They had me try out Xanax but it didn't do anything for me and need harder stuff. Damn I can't remember what I was on for the life of me. :S

I had a party a few months ago and we gave the dog a valium. He gets very teritorial and this worked so fucken good lol he looked stoned. He;s a bully X ridgeback.

Pills will ---- you over one way or another. Either when you're taking them or when you TRY to stop taking them.

I would make sure you talk to your wife about EVERYTHING that's going on in your head so she can tell you what's right and wrong. Pills can make your mind think in very different ways. :l

the only pills that your body can have a chemical dependence on is oxycotin - at least that's what a couple doctors told me

vicodin/percocet as well but theres so much asprin mixed in that you'll start to actually get headaches before you're addicted chemically to them


don't quote me 100% but xanax isn't even a narcotic...
goodluck either way i've seen a lot of people including my brother get fucked royally from drugs - he's 31 years old and thinks like someone my age. It's horrible.

Wrong, wrong and wrong. Xanax withdraw CAN kill you, aswell as alcohol. The only two drugs that have deadly withdraws. And by chemical dependance I assume you mean physical. There are plenty of over the counter pills you can become psychologically dependant on, but opiates are one of the strongest physical dependency drugs.

And yes, drugs stop mental growth. I'm 4 years old.

Sleeping pills can become addictive. Actually, just about any god damn pill can be addictive regardless of contents. Not only addictive, but also have bad withdraw symptoms. Take sertraline/zoloft for 3 months and try to quit. Chances are we will never hear from you again. :l
