WTF, is this a scam (paypal email)
 
I got this email


i smell a fukin scam, when i click on the link it ask for my emai & pass, but its not https//
and when i went to my account from paypal.com it doesnt say anything about this

All you need to do is hover your mouse over the link and see that it isn't pointing to the real paypal site. Report the actual link to spoof@paypal.com

yeah there's another one that says there is a dispute with your account. i forgot to post it on here though.`

If you think there is really a problem go directly to the paypal site never open links kids

son of a ------- bitch........I replied (regretfully) both times and provided my info both times. :-[ How ------ fucked am I gonna be? I just transferred a near $3000 from paypal to my bank account too :-X ---- am I in some deep ----.......

yes unless you act fast. change your password asap to something totally different and report to paypal what you did. if you have access to the email in a sent folder then do that too. paypal, ebay, your bank, etc will never ask for personal account info. never click these links because they can also upload an infostealer or keytracker into your computer as well and get your info that way too.

i know :3 i changed passwords to everything today, emailed paypal and contacted the bank. i think ill be alright :-[
I dont read to much about stuff like that, and it never really crossed my mind that it may be a scam.

Just keep checking in, chances are you are fine now, but if you don't change your password then you are screwed. Old people fall for this all the time :3

well considiring some of the ---- other people do on this site you may take runner up but for real people have to be carefull about ---- like this i would never give personal info out online unless its a secure transaction ;D ;D

the account info i released was closed and all that fun stuff, I have to go to the bank to verify myself and do some paperwork. coulda been pretty bad though :-[

hey this gives me an idea, i think each month admins and mods should agree on a moron of the month, and the one they agree upon could get a custom title for that month :D
