The manifold is made by gp moto, it's sold chromed out, but the last owner had it coated, he spent close to 1000, and sold it to me for 300.

Kain, on COBB's site they say stage 2 is 285hp, but when you open the dyno chart it says 224 to the wheels, I believe the 285 they advertise is to the crank



I was going to go with Cobb, but the Utec is so much more tuneable, like you are saying, just ell them what you have, and they can remap to whatever you want and need.

I went thru the clutch in 6 months, since I got the car, and it went after the boost controller install, just like you are saying slipping like a mother. I heard of a lot of people breaking trannys with the ACT clutch, don't know why, but I went with EXEDY.

cobb, my cousin swears that cobb fucked up his ----. He slanged it and now is using an STi ecu. My cousin is a ricer, he was trying to argue with me that a JDM ecu would not work with his USDM head. ------' ---- muffin, and then he asks his mechanic, that's right he has a mechanic, and he told him he was getting a JDM ecu. Small rant i guess, sorta related to the thread. :P

Nice power. That engine bay does not look fun to work in though. Don't break the tranny.

Well, it's not that difficult if you have the right tools. I didn't to begin with, but when and purchased angled wrenches to reach some of the bolts that hold the injector protection plate, and got it out in 5 minutes. Just alot of taking appart and remembering where everything goes. Get new o-rings for the injectors, I tried to not do this, I ended up taking them out a few times.

Not fun to work on at all. Not enough room, and everything is under a lt of crap. I love the car's power, torque, suspension style everything, but working on it

Thats what I was thinking.I mean the car looks ok but after comparing the STI and the Evo,Im saving my money for a car that has accesibity to the turbo .....right in the front baby.

But thats bullshit about AAA.I cant belive they tried to pull that.

Yeah if I was to buy a new car, and the choice was an evo or an Sti, I would get the EVO, even if I'm losing money right out the dealer, I like the looks on the evo, and that engine is just perfect.

But right now, I have pretty much the same or more power than an evo or an Sti, for less money, now I don't have the same supension, but still I like my car.
