that sucks about the crash... did you get any ins. money to repair it or was it your fault?

The hood, for the ultimate sleeper completely cover it.. then you have the benefit of looking stock w/o the added weight. I am a sucker for the cf look though. ANy structural damage to the hood or cosmetic to the clear coat only?

I don't think it is a curse but your car just may like to be closer to other objects, a little too close for comfort...

nothing wrong with painting a cf hood... should have just painted the whole thing... either way looks good

The color difference must be the light, the way the sun hits it. I really don't care about the bad criticism.
Thanks for the good comments though.....I'm just glad to have it back after 2 months of problems, between the transmission and the accident.

The story, well I live in the tourist capital of the world, Orlando Florida. I was hanging out with some friends on my way to one of those go-kart places. A stupid old lady tourist decided she had not purchased enough gifts and at the last moment she hit the brakes to go into a gift shop. My friend on his "show" 350z was behind the lady, he had time to stop, I didn't, so I hit my friend. He has a real good urethane body kit, so he only suffered a few scratches, I have no bumper support because of the FMIC.

It was during the Black College Reunion, I guess two black colleges come here to play a football game, well the street was clutered by old domestics on 26"rims with the music blasting loud. Well here comes a brand new BMW 745 on 26's, It caught my eye, so I turned around for 3 seconds, and could not stop in time. :P :P.

But because it's my boy, I just told him I would pay for his paint, and my brother-in-law owed me some money, so he did mine for free. That way I avoided a ticket, my insurance to go up, and wasting hours for the cop to get there.

This car is more of a look at me type of thing, to feed my ricey side a bit, but with 300whp-300lb/tq. I didn't want to cover up the CF hood. I only purchased it because on WRX accident #1 the dumbass hit the rear and bent the trunk a bit, so I purchased the CF trunk with the Insurance money and could not leave the front factory with the trunk being CF. The factory hood is fiberglass and is pretty much as light as the CF.

I was going to sell it but the car is too much fun. I want a G35, but I'll wait a little longer. If I get a good offer I probably will sell it, but I'm not desperate to do so.

I have the Integra for a sleeper. I just swapped a SIR2 B16A into it.

Thats shitty that happened, pretty clean cover up though! Have you ever taken any vids of that thing in action A G35 would be a nice route to go... I just keep telling myself, "you've got to buy the garage before you buy the car".

The only video I had was a 150+mph pull I did once, went over the 140 mark and back to 0, the car has no speed limiter, just what the tranny can do, which has been said to be around 160, but at those speeds stock gauges are not too accurate.

I'm heading to Miami this weekend, I'll see what I can do about videos.

Looks great dude. I saw WRX that looked identical to yours today, except it still had a non painted cf hood and no cf trunk but everything else was dead on but good job takin some ---- and makin it great
