well, some of you may have noticed, i haven't been on line in about a week. well, monday it ------- snowed like .5" here which is unheard of (70° two days later) and the roads were icy as ----, i've never felt it so cold here as long as i've lived here, it was at least like close to 0°F with the wind chill factor. so anyways, some bitch 'stops' at a stop sign as slides out in to the intersection as i'm coming by, i swerve to avoid t boning her and i start spinning out of control and run up on the curb and smack an electrical box. ripped my back bumper off, smashed a tail light, ripped half my front bumper off, but that's about it. nothing too bad just need new front and rear bumper covers and a new tail light, but unfortunately due to being broke b/c of the 'HO'lidays, it's gonna have to wait a few weeks and i refuse to drive around with no bumper like some ricer who is missing half of his body kit, so i'm grounded for a few weeks. smacked my face up pretty good on the driver side window also, kind of looks like i got my ass kicked, ---- it. no pics b/c i lost my camera ??? and i don't give a ---- to look for it right now.

yeah, it won't cost much, new bumper covers are pretty cheap, just getting them sprayed is what cost a little. should only be about 300 bucks total, but damn bad timing with christmas 2 days away :P i should have t boned the bitch, totaled my car, made her insurance pay, bought my car back and bought a cheap hatch and swap everything over, oh well, you just don't think about that ---- in the split second before the accident, your reflexes kind of take over :P

dam kev, that ---- sucks. there were so many accidents around here it was nuts.

but today, 3 days later, im outside with t-shirt, and jeans. -windows down everything. its so fucked up. :P

But about the bumpers,just make shure you get them to paint it with oem paint.The last thing you want is 2 diferent shades of red on your car :-\

sorry to here that, i wrecked my si last year when some kid decided to cross the street on his bike while i'm going down the road. i swearved to avoid hitting him head on but the little bastard took out my passenger side mirror,door,and rear quarter panel smashed up. i had insurance so it got it fixed, but the whole experience sucked.

yeah, i know a GREAT paint guy that will guarantee to get a perfect match. he said he'll spray both bumpers and lips (i'm gonna go ahead and put some lips on the bumpers since they're getting sprayed anyways) for 220 bucks with photo matched dupont, that's a pretty good price if you know how much that ---- is. i also just found a brand new front and rear bumper cover alread primed for 140 shipped, my lips are in stock in a local store for 100 bucks for both, plus a tail light i'm looking at right around 500 bucks, which is how much my insurance deductible is anyways, so, that's a no brainer :-\ oh well, it will look a lot nicer with the lips anyways and maybe motivate me to polish up the car and keep it looking nice.

I hate that $500 deductable ---- >:(.I was going to change it to the $100 deductable but they jack the rates up if you use it.Insurance companys are run by the devil!!

This is a good chance to get those Altezzas you pm'ed me about ;) :P.

It's good to hear that ur okay. Doesn't sound like anything serious, but i feel the same way i wouldn't drive my car if i don't have bumpers any ---- for it.

na, i've got full coverage, but i would still have to pay a 500 dollar dedcutable. so basically if i got the damage estimatete at 510 dollars, they'd send me a check for 10 dollars and my rates would more than likely go up........

I hate certifit bumpers. They suck and don't fit good. the fenders from them are ok but the plastic ---- that they make sucks. I would rather have a keystone or a yang chung bumper. So much better quality. We call the certifit bumpers sortafit bumpers if you get my drift.

I'm having a fun time dealing with insurance companies. I pay insurance and when I need to use it, they deny the claim. Why do I even have insurance? Oh yeah, because the government makes me. ::) >:( ---- all of them. I'm so ------- sick of insurance companies.......

You're better off fixing it on your own anyways. For the $500 it costs you to fix it your insurance will raise your rates $25 a month for the next 3 years so you'll end up paying for it one way or another. :-\
