Okay so with that thing they increase the volume of air going into the turbo itself, and then the turbo pushes more air

I read about on their web site and it gives like 10hp. Thats all and it is used for better emitions and fuel economy. I has really high EGTs but with a perfect A/F ratio. ::)

sohcrxsi,

Just looked at that site, interesting info there.

Its capable of 4psi so it says but its only supposed to be on for 4 seconds or so.

It said alone it can produce 4 psi for a 5.9l diesel up to 2000 rpm. Which honestly isnt that bad maybe it could make 4 psi on a car, I dont want to sound stupid either but its possible. It said it spins at 40,000 rpm as well.

Anyways I'd be curious if it actually worked but I woudlnt fork out that kind of money for the thing. Makes you wonder though

I think I'm going to start making nitrous kits. It'll be a few cans of whip cream, some balloons and a really long needle like thing. You just have to use the whipcream can to fill up the baloons with nossss, put them next to the air filter and use the needle to pop it when you want an extra 2000 horsepower for 7 to 9 nanoseconds

Yeah, did you see how big those wires are? That fucker would make your car dead in one good quarter mile if I pulled that kind of amps. The real issue here is that they have created the least efficient supercharger in the world. By the time energy from the engine gets to the electric motor, it has changed around and a lot had been wasted. Not really ideal, very wasteful, but a better attempt than usual... I am actually debating super-turbo-charging the FX, but I need to finish the new turbo thing first.

Turbo magazine has an article this month on one of the "new" electric superchargers. They said that this one works, but it just looks like a bunch of bullshit if you ask me.

Oh, and a guy I went to high school with turbo'd his car with his moms hairdryer. The car had absolutely no power gain before the blowdryer burn that car to the ground. I don't know how he did it, I just know that his car burnt to a fucken crisp and that's what he said he did. (Yeah, so I didn't go to the highest scoring high school. :-\ So what)
