My high school sucked... just spent 1.2 mil $ on a new gym (we have two now, almost identical) when we were using books from 1997 in my computer class... teacher's had to buy books because the school board said it "wasnt in [their] budget", half the toilets were clogged/busted, the ceiling tiles fell down a lot... a million other things that they could've fixed instead of getting a new pointless gym.

Oh well, I guess...

Teachers care more about the politics of their unions than teaching people. I'd start with the union and slowly the books would arrive.
