i may get back in the flange business. it would be far more cost effective to make all flanges from 3/8" thick mild steel rather than 1/2". they would be laser cut. just curious if i could offer them at a reasonable price would people still buy them?

Honestly, head flanges no. Everything else yes. The prices would have to be good to warrant a drop from a 1/2 cnc'd piece to a 3/8 flame cut.

I only use BMC flanges now. They are perfect. No scale to grind off, weld beautiful, and are finished on all sides. Flame cut usually have one side that is less desirable than the other.

3/8 warps easier. i think the reason you got a good rep here was because you sold nice quality 1/2 flanges. welll worth the $$ if you ask me. if you make 3/8 flame cut flanges your no different than most of the vendors here.

Aaron, I would be interested in turbo flanges, DP flanges, and WG flanges. Are buying a plasma table?

1/2" or go home
laser cut looks like *** after you buy nicely finished bmc flanges
