Hm...
I just bought a 92 DX Hatch for $300 CAN, needs 2 upper balljoints and a windshield, as well as cancer work on the rear quarters.
300 dollar car, 500 bucks in parts, I wouldn't give him more than 800 if his doesn't need a THING other than rust work.
