I originally gave you the option of sharing it, you decided not to because you wanted to clean up at the streetraces.
You know, no one particularly cared to see the pics when I mentioned it then because I suppose they thought I was a liar, but they see a silly video and I guess now they think I'm not a liar? Eh, I don't feel so bad anymore.

Locals here, the fast ones are the ones you don't know about because they're doing all their own stuff in their garages.
400 built SBC with 2 t3/t4s in a 68 firebird shell with the suspension to put it down. Went 9.56 at 153.4 on low boost in a heavier shell with stock suspension. That's the fastest ---- out in these parts.
Oh, and Joey? ---- everyone else, I agree, they had their chance!

What makes your setup more effective than limit straps? From what you posted earlier, it sounds like some type of bolt welded to the upper control arm that limits the suspension travel.

JD,
I know nothing about drag racing. Heavier springs in the back, with a shock with a ton of bump, maybe a swaybar. The front shocks maybe a ton of rebound built into them. Just a few ideas, I have no idea how to set up a drag car front or rwd drive..
Randy
PS I like the strap idea!!!

Suspension theory depends alot on what kind of rear set up you have for a fwd car. This was learned quickly with dhracing cars. What worked on a solid rear axle, wheelie bar set up didnt work for a damn on a street car. Street cars are tough with the choice because you cant go with a super rigid set up if you actually plan on driving the car around.
