So, I got this game for super cheap.... ----, I've been playing it for at least the past 3 hours.

Who else plays this game? I've heard of people going on like 18 hour binges with a 24 pack of mountain dew. God damnit, it's like a drug.

I play it. A buddy of mine got me to pick it up. It's great when you have a few friends online. I played for like 5 hours yesterday leveling a new character.

If any of us were high enough level we could start a HMT Ownz the World Guild. That would be tight.

My characters names are Brohem, Fahqu, Fahqutu, and Lickalotapus. Hit me up or add me to friends.

my little brother plays it nonstop...has been since it came out...he's had like 5 lvl 60 characters which is the highest u can get lol and hes about to have a 6th one at 60

old friend of mine from high school didn't graduate.. and he finally got a job at a factory making a descent wage. So he bought a 02' focus SVT.. his life started to go uphill.. and then that warcraft game came out.. and he quit his job so he could play it.. he now lives in his mom's basement and plays warcraft all the time : :l

I found a game called "Knight Online" which seems to be the same deal as WoW, but free. It's pretty fun!

Guild wars is similiar to WoW but ill say this, NOTHING COMPARES to WoW... seriously. to much to do, so much going on. i dont own it, but i will when i have to much time to kill. No torrent for thsi one guys, it even cost monthly to play for those who dont know

holy ---- that game is addicting. say goodbye to your social life. me and my roomate play on stormwind server or somethin like that. my roomates day consists of waking up, going to work, coming home, playing WoW for 8 hours and going to sleep.

it will EAT YOUR TIME UP. its fun none the less. even if you dont play all day every day

I used to play warcraft 2 way back in the day, thats pretty much all I did and the reason why i stay away from video games, they take up way to much time.

You need to tell us what server you play on. :P

I swore I would never buy this game, yet a few months ago I gave in. One of my roommates bought it and that was the last straw; if he was able to be convinced to buy it then it must be worth trying. I had around 7-8 characters on 4 servers at one time. After a month or so I settled on a main, which is a dwarf warrior on Dark Iron. I estimate I've put about 7-8 days of /played time in over all the characters I've started, and that includes the 5+ days I've put into my warrior. This game has a bad reputation for ruining people's lives from addiction, but I think I'm proof that it can be played in moderation. I've never skipped work or passed on invitations to social outings to play WoW. ;)

Same situation cept im barely starting right now, month 2 rolling around. I used to be a d2 fan since 1.2-1.1 and that for some reason was alot more addicting and entertaining than what WoW is ATM. Simple concepts of PVP is what keeps all games alive : ).

As far as people loosing jobs and relationships, they deserves to lose them anyways if they cant control their habits :X.

im more of a First Person Shooter myself. I used to play counter-strike for hours back when it first came out. When it got super popular is when it started to suck, people would cheat all the damn time and it took all the fun out of it.

heck, I remember WAY WAY back in the day, Duke3d. yah that game was the ish, used to go onto a BBS and meet up with others wanting to play..

"ok, go offline i'll dial in right now, go go!"

my brother played diablo 2 first like 5 or so years ago and he dropped outta skool because of it. fast foward to wow. its like straight crak and hes bangin it in his arm somthin serious. then my dad passed in october. and my brother never oi mean never came off that game he was always like hey joey go buy it and i'll help you level and ---- blah blah blah i was like hell no i like to sk8 dont wanna play no game. he just quite finnaly but he still plays very little now thank god. he lost like 20 lbs and he looked horrible. man ---- that game. lol. my brother wasted like a year in a fake realm wtf. oh well its fun watchin him kill the horde lol

Wow is a preatty cool game in which every little thing you do pays off. No wasting time on two hour missions and getting ---- in return.

A mmorg calld Vanguard is coming out soon. It's supposed to blow away every other game of this genre.

nah just playin* I'm not a fan of video games because I'm terrible at them, I remember playing Goldeneye multi-player and I'd always get worked. Same goes for Halo, half the time i don't even know who shot me or where from. Good thing I'm not stationed in Iraq. I'd probably be the first idiot to die.
