WOOT, WOOT NEW TIRES!!!

o.k., i know most of you prolly don't care, but tires are so damn expensive for trucks, i was looking at 500+ just for the oe replacemet tires on my xterra. then i came up with a plan, there is a full size spare on a steel rim under the back bumper, well, i have one, all i need to do is sneak up to 3 xterra's and snake their spare tire, then have them mounted on my rims ;D well, all of the bad ---- i did back in the day, i guess i don't have it in my anymore, i drove around and spotted the trucks i was going to do this to, but never had the balls to do it, i've needed tires for a couple of months and now i have a little extra cash cause of xmas, i found these for 200, plus 44 for shipping to nc, i figure about 50 bucks to have them mounted and balance, and these got some meat on em too, so now i can take my truck in the mud, yay!!!

They dont look bad at all, its just not a mud tire is all I'm saying.

My all terrain TA's were a lil deeper with soome bigger cleats on the side and did well so I suppose those woudlnt do bad.... nothing like thornbirds though ;)

I live go to school in big rapids michigan where there are a ton of hicks with trucks. Tons of two tracks back there that even better of the trucks get stuck in. Last year some kid had a dodge ram with a v10, 12 inches of lift and 38in swampers....buried it in the mud haha :)

I got some new tires too. Falkens Ze-512's for I think it was like 225. 225/60/15. I feels you on the new tires! Now I just needs to get an alignment. =/

-Murdoc

P.S. don't pay 50 for mounting and balence, at the most I pay 40, but try to hussle to 30-35, unless they do it for 20 =P. 50 too much. repeating myself, but the most I would pay is 5 for mounting and 5 for balencing for each rim. And even 40 is a lot but seems descent.

Those are NOT good tires for mud. Good deal and everything, but no serious mud bogging for you. :-\

I bought the "Big O" STX or whatever for like $500 out the door and they aren't even off road tires. :-[

Nah, I was talking about the ebay special tires. :P I think the BFG mud terains are decent for mud and they look great, but they wear like a mo fo. The regular BFG's last 10x as long as the mud, but I guess that's what you get with the aggressive tread patterns. :-\
