It's also your fault for not making sure it was locked.
It sucks sometimes having manual locks, but I always make sure everyone locks their doors. They get the stink eye if they forget and then a bitchslap upon repeat offense.

I lock my ---- all the time. My car has been broken into once cause I left it unlocked by accident. They stole the gauge cluster and hood of all things...but left everything else and all the screws.
Doesn't help that I'm hated by many and loved by few.
A friend of mine has a drop top '60 something Cutlass sitting on 23's with the system and the nice paint. He leaves it unlocked all the time and sets the alarm. Has a CCTV system watching it too. Basically if the alarm goes off, there's enough armed people coming out of the house to scare off even the most hardened criminal around here.
