Wiring up keyless, help a nog

Ok so I am in the middle of wiring up my keyless entry. It's just a basic keyless entry no alarm. So on the solenoid there is two wires one - one + duh. Easy way to hook it up, but would have to run wires through the door which looks like it might be a PITA.

So my question is can I just wire it into the power door lock switch? That way it will just fool the car into thinking the switch has been pressed and unlock/lock the door. Here is my only thing. The switch has 3 wires. One black (-), Green/red (unlock), and Green/blue (lock). Now the keyless entry box only has two prongs per door. So I have no idea if this would even work since it only sends out the signal on two wires versus the split signal coming from the switch. Also the switch works with the car off, so I know it's a constant. So seeing as how the box needs a constant also, how would I run it from the same constant the switch is using?

Hell yeah I'm lost as hell :-*

I've had 3 hours of sleep and a hangover, probably wasn't the best time to start this.

Actually I posted that pic because you kept mentioning a constant, and that is from the episode called "The Constant"

(one of the best episodes of the entire series btw)

Re: Wiring up keyless, help a nog

Yeah it's on a lude too. I found out there is some sort of plug up inside the dash I can splice into and get it to work. Now finding it and getting to it will be the issue.
