wiring a completely keyless ignition....

If this is in the wrong section move it, wasn't sure where to put it. Don't give me some stupid lecture about getting my car stolen, because i don't ------- care what you think about it, wether you think I'm stupid or not, I'm going to do this.

I was planning on putting a hidden kill switch in my car, but I figure if i feel I can hide a kill switch, why not just hide the ignition all together so I figured what the hell, lets get rid of keys all together. I want to run one switch to replace my IGN switch all together and a button to start (cause I'm a ------- ricer!). Anyone have any tips on how this can be PROPERLY done?

well the wires under the dash are power, starter, ig1 and ig1 i believe. Now i think one is acc and one is on. So it all depends on how you want to wire ----. I'm assuming you don't care if you lose your accessory mode so in that case i believe you'd put the battery wire on one end of the switch (i think it's the white wire) and then put all the other wires except the black/wht on the other side of the switch. The blk/wht wire is the starter wire, and should obviously go to the push button, and the other pole of the push button should have a jumper wire that connects to the main kill switch for power. Just make sure to use the same gauge wire cause all of those wires are pretty beefy and i doubt speaker wire would suffice.

Can't you get an alarm with an automatic start function?

Remember to fit a battery charge point in a wheel arch so if the battery does go flat, you can charge it without trying to release the bonnet catch.

That way is just begging for a terrible vehicle fire. I'm talking about doing it properly w/ relays and such. :)

keyless ignition...he didnt mean shaving the door handles and locks. If the battery goes dead, he can just unlock the door with the key. Thats if he even wants to use a remote for the door

Why would a relay be needed? Its not like there is a relay in the ignition itself. Get a good quality switch that can handle a decent amount of amps.

you need a relay, 40A +. Put a relay on the wires and connect it to a switch. Use the switch as the ground side to prevent burning it out in any form otherwise the fucker could get really hot and burn you. But just do a relay for the ACC, IGN, and STRT. hook up the switches to the according relay. Just a tip though, make sure you get a new ignition harness to wire it to and leave the stock one in the trunk in case a relay fries. we did that on a friends car, as well as my own. It sucks balls and confuses everybody. It is kinda funny watching the emissions fuckers try to turn it on since I had other switches near those. They almost made me re-wire my ign to get tested. just a forewarning, it can be a bitch, so keep the stock switch untouched in the trunk.
